Meet Keri, Your Wedding Photographer

I was standing where you are now. Planning my own dream wedding. As I anxiously awaited my wedding day I felt the stress building. At the time, I was a psychologist. I understood stress, but that didn't mean that I was above it.  Like you, I researched, planned, and prayed that everything would come together. I was overwhelmed, and I didn't want to worry that those once in a lifetime experiences would slip away and that we wouldn't have them to look back on them. I would love to tell you that I found my dream photographer, but I would be lying to you. That's not the way my story went. I was absolutely miserable with my wedding photos. None of them hang in my house. So after our wedding, I hired a photographer I adored who I thought I couldn't afford. My husband and I dressed up in our wedding attire, and we retook our wedding photos. It was the best investment I've made, but I can't have my wedding day back. 

I am not sure where you are in your journey. Maybe you're overwhelmed. Maybe you're afraid you'll pick the wrong person. I think that meeting is so important. I always tell my brides that you spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than you do with your husband, so it is so important to pick someone you would choose as a friend. I would be so honored to grab a cup of coffee with you and learn your story. I started Be Still Photography because I didn't want another bride to experience the disappointment I had on my big day. Instead, I want you to have a photographer who gets you, has your back, and is there to make your wedding day easier. 

I believe in timeless wedding photos that make time stand still. To achieve that goal, I don't give in to current trends in wedding photography. Instead, I focus on rich golden images that present you in your best light. I am also completely obsessed with the romance of black and white photography and look forward to sharing that vision with you!
